Four in a row in August for "The Fish"... the Super Slam is on!
Chris "The Fish" again cruised to a win in FHM-005 and Mike "Rocky II' just avoided another whitewash. The 7-1 win meant Chris is on track to bag the August Super Slam (5 Matchplays in a row). Chris had some power play patches in this match hitting 2 x 140s and goes to the top in that leaderboard, and as the score suggests he was always in control. His highest checkout of 52 also means he now occupies all top 5 spots in the highest checkout table.
"The Fish" stays unbeaten. No end in site for his winning streak!
Chris "The Fish" was on target again with a 7-2 win in FHM-004. Mike "Rocky II" avoided a third straight whitewash, but only just. Chris went into the break 6-0 up, however Mike scrambled to win the next two legs post break. 6-2. It was a false dawn though as Chris took the ninth leg to bag the 7-2 win. Chris's scoring and doubling has remained consistent throughout the series so far and he again took the highest finish in this match with a 59 checkout.
"The Fish" snags three Matchplays on the trot with another whitewash!
It was deja-vu for Chris "The Fish" as he powered on to another Matchplay 7-0 win in FHM-003. Back to back 'whitewashes' made it 3 wins in a row for Chris with Mike "Rocky II" again off the pace. Chris is now 2 wins into the August Super Slam, and Mike is going to have to dig deep to stop Chris completing it because he is looking like a runaway train at this point...
Forrest Hill Matchplay 002... "The Fish" cruises to back to back wins
Chris "The Fish" powered to a back to back Matchplay win 7-0 in the FHM-002 edition. The 'whitewash' was effortless for Chris with Mike "Rocky II" under-performing, averaging well under 40 for the match. Chris was consistent throughout and early on looked like his average might end up in the high 40s. His two dart 100 checkout in leg 3 was a highlight. This was the first Matchplay game in the August Super Slam. Based on this result, Chris will take some stopping...

Super Slam Winner - a player who wins all 5 Matchplays when there are 5 match days in the same month

Chris "The Fish" reels in the inaugural KDC Forrest Hill Matchplay...
Chris "The Fish" snagged the first ever KDC Forrest Hill Matchplay Championship with a tense 7-6 victory over Mike "Rocky II". The match was a 'tit for tat' affair with neither player ever more than one leg ahead. Early on Mike went out to a 3-2 lead but crucially Chris made it 3-3 going into the break. After the break Chris jumped in front 4-3 and it was then leg for leg with Mike snatching the 12th leg to make it 6-6 and have it go down to the wire. As Chris had won the bullseye to start the match he threw first in the 13th leg which gave him the advantage... and he didn't let it slip, finishing out the leg with the highest checkout of the match, a 69.
